    The first thing to install after firefox (or any browser really..) is this. uBlock is such an important and incredible tool! It is extremely easy to use but has quite a lot of customizability, if needed.

    Yes, about the gocomics review below: I had the same issue, but just went to the dashboard, then filters list, then manually updated them (clock icon). Voila, problem solved. I love this add-on. What's particularly nice is the element picker and element zapper. Thanks so much!!!

    Another one blocking the comics on Gocomics, they are NOT ads! I just reinstalled uBlock after reading below and it's still blocking the comics from showing. Why is that? I'm looking at a page full of blank panels https://www.gocomics.com/comics/political . An actual fix I found is to import the http into the uBlock dashboard/my filters search box and click Import. It's still half assed but at least the comics are now showing.
    Now it's blocking videos on news sites. Can you put some tick boxes or something to say play video, show comic and all the other stuff it inadvertently blocks

    У меня это приложение работает превосходно, но в последние дни, такие браузеры как " мазила" и " гугол" постоянно отключают его. И не только отключают, а даже убирают из отключенных приложений. Сегодня 9 апреля открыл браузеры гугол и Мазила, опять исчезли, пришлось по новому его устанавливать, но сегодня его дали установить и подключить, не как в прошлый раз, только поставлю, сразу отключат, только поставлю сразу отключат. Посмотрю как завтра, не отключат обратно. Респект и уважение разработчикам этого блокировщика, я хотел бы разработчикам перевести какую то сумму денег за это полезное приложение, но на данный момент не имею такой возможности. Большое вам спасибо!!!
