    • Fixed: the Previously Viewed Links section showed nothing when "Hide visited from top section" was enabled. Read links now appear there correctly.
    • Fixed: read links no longer reset after refreshing the page.
    • Fixed: the Mark Older Links as Read button could freeze the page when you had a large history.
    • Improved: reading history is stored more reliably, loads without a flash of restyling, and is automatically kept small and fast.
    • Improved: corrupted or outdated saved data is now recovered from gracefully instead of causing errors.

    • Fixed: read/visited links no longer reset after a page refresh. The
      stored history could fill the browser's per-site storage limit, which
      silently caused new "mark as read" actions to be lost on reload.
    • Read history is now kept in the extension's own storage instead of the
      website's storage, so it is no longer affected by clearing site data.
    • Added automatic cleanup: links that are no longer on the Citizen Free
      Press homepage are pruned from history, keeping storage small and fast.
    • Existing read history is migrated automatically on first run. No action
      needed.
