This extension is perfect. It's been a while since I've found an extension that translates sentences with definitions anywhere on the page.

J'utilise Deepl depuis plusieurs années et il fonctionne dans Chrome, j'ai donc de grands espoirs pour l'extension Mozilla Firefox, je l'attendais depuis longtemps.

It is a very good help for understanding more formal texts better - much better than any other translation help integrated in Firefox or any other browser. But even so: AI is not a human being - and human sense and sensitivity is necessary to recognise context and the meaning of ambiguous words or figurative word combinations. So don't believe it is 100% perfect! It doesn't substitute a good human translator.

It's no longer working to translate whole websites in current dev firefox. This happens regularly, not ok for a paid service (I am a paying customer).

Great addition. Correctly translates grammar and maintains the correct context.

I was using the extension to translate random words and phrases into English to improve my vocabulary a bit, not to translate the whole page. When I switched to Firefox, I was worried that this extension might not be available here.
