    Was working great and deserved 5 Stars. But now not working. Downloads 0 bytes. Now 1 star because 0 stars not an option. Please fix.

    Hi! We know — duplicate downloads AND 0 kb files was a double headache. Both issues are fixed in version 24.1. Please update the extension and it should download cleanly without any duplicates. If it works, we'd really appreciate an updated review! 🙏

    Over a month ago I installed it and it worked just fine. Then about a week or so ago everytime I log on to my computer it has me reinstalling it. Now when I go and try and download a mp4 at youtube it say's its downloading superfast and after its threw there is 0bits. So it doen not work. I'll try and reinstall it one last time before I remove it.

    Hi! Thanks for sticking with it — we know constant reinstalls and 0 bit files is incredibly frustrating. Great news though, version 24.1 is out and addresses these issues. No need for that last reinstall trick — just update to 24.1 and it should work properly. Hope it does the job! 😊

    However, Google has worked again to make this addone unusable. I have try to download an YT Video today and the download file was "0Byte". This app is fantastic but Google destroy it regularly.

    These are scammers! Never send them any money! I gave them money for a lifetime license and was cheated! They defraud customers and are completely untrustworthy!

    I paid $20 for this extension, "The #1 rated Youtube Video Downloader", and it recently (A few days ago) stopped working. I'm downloading empty files...0 bytes video files.

    Doesn't work, just downloads zero-byte mp4 files regardless of the format you wanted to download.

    "download completely successfully" gives me two 0 byte empty video files. Does not download any video, only pretends to.

    Hi! "Download completely successfully" but saves nothing — that fake success message was particularly misleading. Version 24.1 fixes this so it actually downloads what it says it does. Update and give it a try! If it works, we'd really appreciate an updated review! 🙏

    it figures that as soon as i give financial support, it stops working. as with other users, files are not processed and thus downloads are 0 bytes. … should i seek a refund? or is this a YT issue?

    ADDED ON FEB. 25, 2026: i updated as advised to version 24.1. now when i try to download a high-quality video, i am told, "You’ve reached your free high‑quality trial" and that i should upgrade to PRO. um, isn't that what i provided financial support for, so i could download high-quality videos? yes … yes, it was. so until this is fixed, the one-star rating will remain.
