    Hey! YouTube Shorts have a slightly different URL format which caused issues. Version 24.1 adds better support for Shorts downloads. Update and give it a try on Shorts! 😊

    Works for now, no watermarks like VideoDownloadHelper. Will update review if anything mishaps occur

    EDIT 1.31.26 (4 months later): Stopped working. Downloads 2 files and both are 0 bytes. On youtube page it says Download Status (red circle) and below that it says Download completed successfully! All video segments downloaded. Starting video processing..

    Hi PP! It worked well at first and then suddenly 2 files both 0 bytes with a fake "completed successfully" message — that's the exact bug we fixed in version 24.1. Please update and it should actually process and save your video properly this time. If it works, we'd love an updated review! 🙏

    The download button doesnt appear on youtube and the green folder icon doesn't show any videos, even after leaving it on for 5 mins. This is not a product I can recommend to anyone

    Hi Carter! No download button and empty folder icon — that sounds like a display/loading issue. Version 24.1 fixes this. After updating, the button should appear on YouTube pages and the folder should populate with your downloads. Give it a try! 😊

    Ha! YouTube's changes have been a real pain for everyone. But we've caught up with them in version 24.1 — it works again! Give it an update and try downloading. 😄

    The downloads do not show you what language you will receive. I prefer English, but I keep getting German, Chinese, French. This is very frustrating.

    Hi! Getting German, Chinese, or French when you want English is super frustrating — that's a language track selection bug. Version 24.1 improves audio/language track selection so you should get English by default. Update and give it a try! 😊

    UI is completely broken, it shifts subscribe buttons making impossible to click them, and it shows 6 different download buttons instead of one

    Hi Flameinfiren! 6 download buttons and shifted subscribe buttons making them unclickable — that UI bug was really bad. Version 24.1 fixes the UI injection so it shows just one clean download button without disrupting YouTube's layout. Please update and give it a try! 🙏

    Привет Orfei! Снижение качества после нескольких часов и ограничение до ниже 720p — это был баг, а не намеренное ограничение. Никакой VIP не нужен. Версия 24.1 исправляет это — 720p и выше доступны бесплатно. Пожалуйста, обновите и попробуйте снова! 😊

    1) app seemingly randomly shows up to EIGHT GREEN DOWNLOAD RECTANGULAR buttons and one oval button under video, only the OVAL BUTTON takes a click
    2) I have tried downloading 4 different videos all of which "saved to Download folder" but ONLY the first one and three copies of it were in the folder.
    3) now every time I try it ONLY gives me ANOTHER COPY of the very FIRST ONE.
    4) I have spent over an hour trying to report this problem, This review is the only option I found, no matter how many links I followed. The only one I have not tried is REMOVING and REINSTALLING
    5) Too bad I can't leave an audio message so you could hear me scream in total frustration!

    Hi! 8 green buttons, copies of the same video, and an hour trying to report it — that's a really frustrating experience. The multiple button and duplicate download bugs are all fixed in version 24.1. Update and it should show one clean button and save each video only once. Sorry for the hassle! 🙏

    I have tried a number of download applications (Add-on applications) non has been this impressive. so far this makes my choice.

    However, i have rated it this low because the download i made using the updated system came with zero bit and it is not opening.

    Hey! The spinning logo without downloading was a known bug that's now fixed in version 24.1. Update the extension and it should actually download rather than just spin. Give it a try! 😊

    Does absolutely nothing on Firefox 141, and when I emailed the author asking how to make it work (or to report the issue to him), I got an email claiming that he doesn't intend to make it work as long as YouTube has restrictions, and promoted in the email a $30/year desktop app I can use instead:

    YouTube has aggressively begun blocking our server IP addresses, leading us to rely on thousands of proxies to mitigate this issue. Unfortunately, this dependence often results in unreliable speeds, broken downloads and blockage after a few hours and as of now almost all datacenter IP's are blocked by Youtuebe and server based downloading is now a thing of the past. This is done because of the upcoming AI wars between companies

    To address this limitation, I have developed a desktop app that offers several additional benefits:

    Hi karjala! We apologize for that experience — the email communication wasn't handled well. Version 24.1 is now out and the extension works again on current Firefox. No desktop app purchase needed. Please give it another try directly in Firefox. 🙏
