    Hi! It's fixed! We've released version 24.1, which resolves the issue where downloads were producing incorrect file types (including text documents) instead of videos — this was caused by a YouTube algorithm change. Please update to v24.1 and it should download proper video files again, even on Ubuntu. If the new version works for you, we'd greatly appreciate an updated review. Thanks for your patience!

    Donated for it. Few weeks ago addon stopped. Now you can't download anything. All downloaded files - zero-bytes and creator do nothing to resolve problem.
    Not recommend for use.

    All downloads create a file but come with zero KB. No video download at all. Browser: firefox. The extention therefore is a useless worthless trash.

    I purchased this after the one on YouTube stopped working for the Nth time. Worked ok for couple of downloads then stopped. Emailed Dishita and after several back and forths it's working again. So very responsive support.

    Hi! We understand your concern about the paid upgrade for 1080p and MP3 features — these require our own server infrastructure because YouTube no longer provides direct download links for those formats. However, standard video downloads are still completely free! We've also just released version 24.1 which fixes the download issues many users were experiencing.     I really wanted to post a good review as this USED TO work, but not now. Firefox, latest release on Mac Studio. Said the download is ready - but nothing there; not even a dud file. And I really wanted a copy of this recipe tinyurl.com/mrxu5635. Sorry! :(
