EliChat AI RTL performs RTL/LTR direction handling, Persian-font application, AI chat and NotebookLM text processing, and Smart Copy locally in the browser.


Smart Translate is enabled by default on new installations and can be disabled at any time.

When the user selects English text for translation, only the selected text is transmitted to the translation provider configured in EliChat.

The rest of the page, browsing history, chat history, and clipboard contents are not transmitted.

Supported translation providers are:

• MyMemory — public translation service; no API key is required.
• Google Translate · API Key — uses an API key entered by the user.
• Google Cloud Translation — uses the user's own Google Cloud Translation API key when explicitly selected.

API credentials entered by the user are stored locally in browser storage. They are not bundled with EliChat, transmitted to the EliChat developer, or exposed to websites.

Firefox declares websiteContent as required transmitted data because Smart Translate is enabled by default. Disabling Smart Translate stops translation requests.

EliChat AI RTL does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, telemetry, or behavioral profiling.

EliChat does not operate a proprietary backend for collecting user browsing data.
