Framemarker: Visual Library par Theo Miranda
Framemarker Privacy Policy
Framemarker is a browser extension that helps users save visual moments from YouTube videos, add notes, organize them into collections, and revisit them later.
Data the extension may store:
- User account email, when cloud sync/sign-in is used.
- Authentication/session data required to keep the user signed in.
- Saved YouTube video information, such as title, channel, video ID, thumbnail, duration, and timestamps.
- User-created notes.
- Captured frames/images from videos.
- Collections created by the user.
How data is stored:
Framemarker stores data locally in the user's browser using browser storage. When the user chooses to use cloud sync/sign-in, selected data is also stored securely using Supabase, including saved videos, notes, timestamps, collections, and captured frames.
How data is used:
The data is used only to provide the extension's core functionality: saving, organizing, syncing, and displaying the user's visual reference archive.
Data sharing:
Framemarker does not sell user data. Framemarker does not share user data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services:
Framemarker uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and file storage when cloud features are enabled. The extension also runs on YouTube pages in order to detect videos and allow the user to save frames and moments.
User control:
Users can delete saved highlights and related data from within the extension. Users can also sign out of cloud sync at any time.
