• HLS and DASH stream downloading. Hydra now detects streaming video and
audio while you watch and can download it as a single MP4 or TS file.
Pick the quality you want before the download starts.

• Download button on players. A "Download this video" / "Download this
audio" button appears over the player, with a menu of the available
qualities. When a player is playing one file, the button downloads that
file directly instead of listing everything on the page.

• Audio and media capture. MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, M4A and other media on a
page are listed in the toolbar popup with their sizes, ready to send to
Hydra in one click.

• Protected streams are clearly labelled. Streams protected by DRM
(Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay) are shown as protected and are never
downloaded. Hydra does not bypass technical protection measures.

• Redesigned welcome page, and a connection check that tells you whether
the browser can reach the Hydra app — with the fix if it cannot.

• Firefox on Linux: Hydra now registers itself for snap and Flatpak
Firefox profiles, which fixes "Hydra is not reachable" on Ubuntu and
other distributions that ship Firefox as a snap.
