- Noté 1 sur 5par Xenroth, il y a 2 ansDo not use this addin, it steals all affiliate links by redirecting them to paypal instead of the original affiliate and even doesnt find you the best coupons but only the one the store they are partnering with approved to them. So its not even good for that ... just use the common websites finding coupons and you are better off
- Noté 1 sur 5par Rockett, il y a 2 ansSince installing it I have seen a grand total of 0 discounts. After doing some research it seems Honey override affiliate links off everyone else screwing over content creators you click links on to buy things (if you do that).
Honey seems worthless and makes money off of your purchases despite doing nothing. They need to actually partner with sites and offer actual discounts or go out of business. You can find better coupon codes for websites you buy from manually, skip this add-on. - Noté 1 sur 5par Henri, il y a 2 ansHoney takes credit of the sale at checkout from an affiliate link (even without providing value) as long as the user interacts with their pop ups. This even happens when closing a notification where they identify no coupons.
Honey claims to provide the best coupon deals to users without users having to search for discounts manually. Counter to its value proposition, the extension allows their business partners to set the coupons that appear through honey. This may mislead the user into believing they've purchased an item with the best discount when in reality, they were disincentivized from finding the best discount themselves. - Noté 1 sur 5par Sarath, il y a 2 ans

- Noté 1 sur 5par Bobby, il y a 2 ansScum.
I've always thought the extension was doing something nefarious, like harvesting all of your browser data, so i've kept it disabled 99.999% of the time. But it seems their business practices are much worst. - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18743946 de Firefox, il y a 2 ans
- Noté 1 sur 5par KoalaBear, il y a 2 ansHoney works with the businesses to prevent you from getting the best deal. They earn money by making your shopping experience worse.
- Noté 1 sur 5par Kranaika, il y a 2 ansI didn't believe this add-on would do anything else except collect my shopping data and sell those to third-parties, thus making money that way, but HOLY COW does their scummy practice go deep!!
Not only does this excuse of an add-on rarely even find any coupons, but they effectively steal money from everyone who click ANY of the Honey's buttons that show up during online shopping.
Long Story short: Honey redirects referral links from other people (influencers, content creators, bloggers, reviewers etc.) to their own referral links, thus effectively jumping in as a middle man to get those referral bonuses instead of the original referrer!
PLUS they do find the best coupons, BUT REFUSE TO SHOW/APPLY THEM to profit more from each purchase! You're still better off by manually searching for the best coupons. - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17504862 de Firefox, il y a 2 ans
- Noté 1 sur 5par Rob, il y a 2 ansHoney is a scam, Coupons were almost never there, and still took the commissions away from influencers
