Politique de confidentialité pour JP Free SEO Checker
JP Free SEO Checker par Jagdish Prajapat
JP Free SEO Checker ("the extension") is a browser extension developed by Jagdish Prajapat that analyzes the SEO of the webpage you are currently viewing. This policy explains what data the extension accesses, how it is used, and — most importantly — what it does not do.
Summary
No data is collected, stored, or transmitted to the developer
The extension does not have a server. It does not send any data to Jagdish Prajapat, jagdishprajapat.com, or any third party. Everything it does happens locally in your browser, on demand, when you click the extension icon.
What the extension accesses, and why
The content of the active tab. When you click the extension icon, it reads the page's title, meta tags, headings, images, links, and structured data directly from the page's HTML. This happens only for the tab you have open and only when you actively open the popup — the extension does not run in the background or monitor your browsing.
robots.txt and sitemap.xml of the site you're viewing. The extension fetches these two files directly from the website you are currently inspecting, so it can show you whether they exist and what they contain.
Internal links on the page (optional). If you click "Check internal links for errors," the extension fetches a sample of the page's own internal links to check whether they return an error (e.g. a 404), and shows you the results. These requests go directly from your browser to the site being checked.
What the extension does not do
It does not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history.
It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts.
It does not send any page content, URLs, or scan results to any server.
It does not sell or share data with third parties, because none is collected.
It does not persist any data between sessions — closing the popup discards the report.
Permissions explained
activeTab & scripting
Used only to read SEO-relevant elements from the page you have open, and only when you click the extension icon.
Host permissions (all sites)
Used so the extension can fetch robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and internal links from whatever site you're currently inspecting — not from any other site, and not in the background.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
