Indeed to have a better security level my keepass database is saved in the cloud but it has'nt any extension (instead of the usual .kdbx); in that way non one can link the file to Keepass.
Tusk don't love this setup because don't recognize the file.
I don't think it will be a big problem to allow the manual selection of database file......
...so 5 stars can be incoming ;-)Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 8 ansHey there! Thanks for your review. For anyone reading in the future, I want to clarify that saving your keepass database with a different file extension to "hide" it doesn't increase your security and is actually kind of pointless. The reason is that while file "extensions" are a convenient way for the operating system to identify types of files, they are actually betrayed by their "magic numbers".
Because of the way every cloud storage provider implements their API, Tusk would need to be redesigned with a "file picker" rather than looking for kdbx extensions. This isn't something I'm likely to do. - Noté 4 sur 5par Pierre-Adrien Buisson, il y a 8 ansAt first I was not entirely sure of everything I did, but I quickly found my way around, and must say this addon + MacPass is an interesting alternative to well-known cloud-based password managers. It might be a bit more user friendly (being able to write new passwords/updated passwords from the browser would be excellent, particularly, and avoid the pain of manually reopening the password file and creating/updating the proper entry) and is not yet 100% out-of-the-way, but it's really close. I really appreciate the addon and I think there's still room for important features. However, the existing feature set is already really interesting and works really well.

Only 4 stars because I would like to use shortcuts to fill my formRéponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 8 ansThanks for the review! Could you elaborate on what you mean by shortcuts? Some key-combination to open Tusk and autofill with the first match? - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14005669 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansOne of my "required" add-ons. Although it seems to be broken on Ubuntu 18.04 with Firefox 59, It works flawlessly in Chrome.
Get it nowRéponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 8 ansThank you! I'm looking into the ubuntu 18.04 issue and will hopefully be out with a fix soon.
EDIT: Documented in https://github.com/subdavis/Tusk/issues/146 and due to ibus/ibus bug
The pop-up can be accessed in a normal tab.
1. Navigate to about:addons in Firefox
2. Click preferences next to Tusk
3. In the address bar, change options.html to be popup.html
You can bookmark this page for quick access. - Noté 5 sur 5par hedgie, il y a 8 ansWorked like a charm, but then I imported the same local db and key file on fresh firefox and ubuntu 18.04, clicked tusk icon and got the message 'unlocking...' and then it's over. never got to the menu to even enter the password. Dev is very responsive on git so keep it up!
- Noté 5 sur 5par Jimmy Pautz, il y a 8 ansWay better than KeepassXC-browser. The "Shared Link" thing doesn't work with OneDrive either...but regular OneDrive connection works.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13982396 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansBest solution I have come across. Password not stored indefinitely, allows sharing links from nextcloud to only the encrypted database, handles the odder sign in systems (google) where autofill failed and, best of all, a simple good looking UI capable of all but deep entry editing.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13932668 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansBrilliant! Easy-to-use. Just a bit of a lag to reopen the database on each invocation but not really annoying. Could probably speed it up by working with a local copy instead of cloud-based version.
Any chance of a form filler too (addresses, credit cards, etc)? :-) Echo other reviews requesting ability to write to the database too. e.g. automatically recognize when a new site is used, offer to generate and save password.
I'd be happy to pay an annual subscription fee and contribute to the project to ensure ongoing support and development and to ensure that it remains secure, ad-free and open-source (?) - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13664140 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansI was looking for an alternative to KeePassXC-Browser and found Keepass Tusk! Perfect to avoid opening KeepassXC each time I want to fill passwords. Morevoer Keepass Tusk works flawlessly contrary to KeePassXC-Brower which requires to connect again and again.

- Noté 5 sur 5par shikhanshu, il y a 8 ansIf there's only one extension you'd want to install on Firefox or Chrome, it will be this. I cannot imagine life without it and it is absolutely perfect at what it sets out to do.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13207469 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansHas a straight, modern UI and just works
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 12642247 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansWorks great, I would give it 5 stars, could it also write to the db. The way it is now, you still need another program to write to your keepass db. This could also be seen as a feature, I guess it depends on, what you want.

mis en ligne : il y a 8 ansThanks! Ability to add and edit is definitely a feature I'd like to add too. For right now though, Tusk is intended to be read-only. - Noté 5 sur 5par srochy, il y a 8 ans
