- Noté 4 sur 5par Vivin NL, il y a 8 ansIts Good, it helps me open my personal and professional gmail accounts in parallel in separate container without sign out or losing the session.
Good for keeping Facebook and Google from tracking everything.
However, if the extension is disabled and then re-enabled, for whatever reason, all containers are removed and reset to the default personal, work, banking, and shopping containers. This doesn't sync with anything and is beyond annoying. Containers are also not synced remotely either. - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 12838658 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansExcellent Feature, don't knwo if its there, but would be great to have a default homepage for each container
- Noté 4 sur 5par Nick, il y a 8 ansThis seems like a nice tool. I can't really tell if it's working as described and keeping cookies and tracking contained within different work flows. It's hard to know exactly. But the tool works well, and it seems that account logins are isolated withing a container.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Exec, il y a 8 ansThis has great potential! Sadly it outright refuses to work in private browsing mode. I wish it also had a few more customization options too. Works perfectly on normal windows!
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14372756 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansI would love to have a shortcut eg. Ctrl+G to open a menu that lets me select the group for the new tab.
- Noté 4 sur 5par 浅川, il y a 8 ansContainers is very useful, but I think there are two point inconveniet:
1. "Sites assigned to a Container" does not support match patterns (*), so you can't add *.example.com and you have to add subdomains one by one : (
2. The page "about:preferences#containers" is useless…… - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14362830 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansfantstic does the job well and the tabs are neatly arranged in one large window
Highly recommended. Another tool in the privacy tool belt.
- Noté 4 sur 5par k2s, il y a 8 ansHas big potential, but assignments need improvement. at least sync to Firefox Sync, support for top domains and possibility to edit assignments as text file.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Anup Dhakal, il y a 8 ansAs a developer, I have found for myself a new use case for containers. I make different containers (eg. dev1, dev2, etc.) and use them to maintain different user sessions in each container while I'm testing my app.
Only thing that is missing (I think) is a quicker way to open certain containers, for example open all tabs in a bookmark group (eg. work related bookmark group) into a particular type of container (eg. work container) - Noté 4 sur 5par T_O_N_M_O_Y, il y a 8 ans
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14334713 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansThis addon is great! It should be included into Firefox.
And as repeated by alot of people already: It would be so much better if the container settings were Synced between devices... Or at least give us a way to import/export them easily
But it's definitely the biggest reason for me to use firefox, after many years of Chrome - Noté 4 sur 5par Jon Morby, il y a 8 ansHaving recently moved to Firefox from Chrome (since Google messed with the multi personality settings) I was overjoyed when I saw this plugin.
It seems to do exactly what it says on the tin .. the only downside I can find so far is that it doesn't seem to sync between machines, so all the preferences need to be manually copied from laptop to desktop / etc .. which is a bummer.
Would be 5 stars if only the profiles sync'd along with everything else through Firefox Sync - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14331028 de Firefox, il y a 8 ans
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14328029 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansIt's really great, but I wish the settings I have for each container were ported over with Firefox sync. The containers, settings for each container, etc. I understand this request may have difficulties I don't understand, but this problem is the only thing stopping me from rating this add on as perfect.
- Noté 4 sur 5par ergosteur, il y a 8 ansA recent update seems to have caused CPU usage to go out of control with this extension enabled. I've disabled the extension, and noticed I still have Container tabs functionality, albeit without the extension toolbar button - so I question the need for this extension.
Container tabs have quickly become a must-have feature for me. I have quite a few sites where I actively use multiple accounts (Google, Microsoft, Amazon) and not having to use a separate browser with a completely separate profile and set of addons is great. Even with sites that do allow simultaneous sign-in with different accounts, opening, for example, a work-related link in my work container ensures that it will use my work Google and Microsoft accounts and not accidentally leak/link any personal data. - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14318010 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansWould have been perfect if you can sync settings
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13433941 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansI love this add-on. One of my go to whenever I bootup a new computer. Something to improve could be:
- Save configurations somewhere so its linked to my account. I have to manually add the same configuration over and over again when I configure a new computer. - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13923064 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansIt's fantastic but the fact that the setup of Containers (names and assigned websites) does not sync between accounts is a huge drawback!
