The beauty of MySessions is that it can import old Session Manager sessions files you have saved elsewhere. Also it's the only replacement I've found that respects whether tabs were pinned or not and replaces them accordingly. Very well done and greetings from Scotland!

- Noté 2 sur 5par shrodder, il y a 9 ansso, so, works a bit, after some reopening saved sessions, the tabs are mangled more and more...
- Noté 3 sur 5par Daptonic, il y a 9 ansSessions backup fine ... but on the restore, everything is out of order, which is problematic based on my usage patterns. Pre-v57 add-ons restored everything in the same order they were backup.
Can this be added? Thanks! - Noté 5 sur 5par rom100main, il y a 9 ans
- Noté 2 sur 5par Shajirr, il y a 9 ansI'd rate the experience of using this addon as very bad.
First of all, I did not experience any losses of stored sessions, saving them, as well timed autosave, which is one of the most important features, do work.
However, the process of restoring a session is beyond horrible - every single tab is getting loaded into memory.
When trying to restore a session with this addon, Firefox ate around 12GB RAM, basically all available RAM I had (it would have probably ate all 32GB if I had them), and made PC completely unusable, it lagged to hell. I waited for around 20 minutes, but nothing improved, so I just gave up, and closed the browser (it crashed on close too).
After that I was able to use native browser session load, without problems, with all tabs not loaded into memory, like it should be.
I tried using "Load on Select" before, but it has problems with some of the sites - they do not load with this addon.
- Noté 4 sur 5par NaoDesu, il y a 9 ansGreat addon for saving tabs for later.
Also, using bookmarks as a session storage is a good decision.
You can use any bookmark addon to work with sessions for e.g. syncing between different computers and so on.
Unfortunately "Crash recovery" does not working as expected.
After I close and open browser most of my tabs in last session (from "crash recovery") is lost because URLs contains some garbage (tab title or something). It happens to me in 50% situations.
FF 56.0.2. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 10926038 de Firefox, il y a 9 ansIt is open source and it is the best. Thank you very much.
- Noté 3 sur 5par grizzler, il y a 9 ansNope. Not there yet...
Settings window is a mess, with all but the first check icons at the right margin of the previous line instead of before the tab title (text overflow because the text doesn't quite fit?).
Opening pinned tabs in the same window opens them all in full (not pinned).
Opening them in a new window moves the first one to the last position and opens it not pinned.
Needs work to be of any use to me.
Three starts for effort.

mis en ligne : il y a 9 ansЭто необходимость. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13520428 de Firefox, il y a 9 ansa lot better than the more popular options.
You can select what window to save or individual tabs from different windows.
interface isn't very slick but it does the job. - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13514898 de Firefox, il y a 9 ansIf I understand it correctly, the panels in MySessions that I save or are autosaved - they are saved in the form of bookmarks. That means that Firefox shows me that every panel I have open has been bookmarked and I dont know if I did that and saved the link into an appropriate folder or if that is just from the MySessions addon. Is it possible to do something about it? Something like hide the MySessions bookmarks from the Firefox? Thanks

- Noté 4 sur 5par IAmSelf, il y a 9 ans
Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 9 ansMySessions - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13510805 de Firefox, il y a 9 ansI'm still hoping for a function that auto-saved my personal saved Session.
- Noté 4 sur 5par GeorgeA, il y a 9 ansI really like this session manager, but what I am sad about is that it insists to open a new WINDOW and not just open the "saved session" into the EXISTING WINDOW, and populate the tabs from there.
At least if there could be a setting, that asks....do you want to "Open a new Window", that could be unticked. It seems to me this could be just perfect if we had that choice. Many thanks though, and please introduce that setting if you can? I'd love to make my 4* review a 5* review!Réponse du développeur

- Noté 1 sur 5par Anastasia Preidofullen, il y a 9 ansFor those who can't use MySessions because of its cookie dependency, I've just tested Tab Session Manager and it doesn't have that deficiency and is more full featured. I know the MySessions developer is claiming there is no cookie dependency, but for me it's a simple matter of enabling cookies to make MySession work and disabling them to immediately kill all of its functionality. One way or another, that's a dependency, so I've had to move to TSM.

mis en ligne : il y a 9 ansIf you carefully read the description for the version, you will see that the problem with the zeroing of the settings was detected and is in the process of elimination.
I again confirm that the extension does not use cookies, they are simply stored in the same place as the extension settings. Therefore, by killing cookies, you kill settings. I agree that the TSM storage system was originally made more correctly.
Instead of simply pointing out a mistake (like other do), you came, made muck and proclaimed TSM. Let it be on your conscience. - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13499540 de Firefox, il y a 9 ansHow would i go about exporting sessions from this? Is there a folder somewhere where i can make a copy?
Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 9 ansEach session can be exported from the extension menu and manually saved to a file. Sessions are stored in bookmarks and local storage.
