I would not stay on, as it turned itself off often. Now, it won't even turn on. Not sure why,

I use NordVPN on all my computers and phones this extension is okay find that i often have German text even if i have GB selected. Since the update a few days ago seems really buggy. Keep having to connect manually and get the 15min limit error and in the time that its taken to write this i have got the 15min error disconnect me again. I also get the user name and password pox pop up. Also since the update i am unable to get on Amazon with the VPN active. not sure if this is an amazon issue or a Nord issue just noticed it recently. Needs improving. Not keen on the new Country indicator directly on the menu bar its distracting.

V2.8.4 Update - still frequent disconnects (not as bad as before), but reverting back to the stable V0.9.21 - I cannot afford for a site to half load then the VPN drop connection - this is not good for security - This is firefox fully updated with NO other add-ons or plugins.
Update for V2.6.3 - Still not usable. Connects, then prompts for username/password (firefox dialogue), can maybe access a single site, then after a few seconds dialogue says Failed to Connect, please try later. This is now every version except the initial release that does not work for me. Initial release still works perfectly with no issue, so back to that one again....... Original Review: Latest two updates (2.4 and 2.41) not usable for me. Logging in and connecting keeps kicking me out saying 'session limit exceeded, try again in 15 minutes'. Have logged with support, but meanwhile have reverted back to v0.9.21 which does have this issue and keeps me logged in with issues.

Yeah old one was laggy but this update from December 7th as they said redesigned from ground up in patch notes. Seems snappy! Crossing fingers, cheers!

It freezes when I try to choose a country. And it is really slow when I try to open it.

This VPN really rates about 2-1/2 stars. But all the VPN's out there have issues. When NordVPN does connect the speeds are good, and the connections stable. I'm not sure how many issues are the VPN providers faults, or the server firewall software that tries to thwart the use of VPN's for security (or the inability to track you).
Here are some worthwhile tips? tricks? for getting the VPN to work correctly, and connect to some stubborn websites.
1.) The first one is to close, and re-open your browser, it, if you have the VPN set to open with Firefox this will help it sync up.
2.) The second is to not run the System (O/S) NordVPN application at the same time as the Firefox NordVPN extension add-on. The first tip/trick seems to work most time though, if the VPN doesn't sync to the Firefox browser on the first try.
I have Firefox set to reopen last browser session, and have had good luck on the second opening trick. Hopefully the software will improve sometime in the near future and we can leave the tricks to the video gaming folks.

Most of the time I can only connect for about 10 or 15 mins before I have to discount and reconnect b/c the VPN stops working to use it. Most of time it stops allowing me out of the network and I can't do anything with it. I just turn it off. Most of time its pointless I have a membership and it does not work.

First off, this add-on is not free. You need to make an account on their website and pay for a subscription to their VPN service. Secondly. if I am connected to their VPN service, why would I need this add-on? I have nothing against NordVPN but geesh!

This extension is extremely resource heavy. Any interaction with this extension takes about 3 seconds for anything to actually pop up or react. I would stick to a desktop client as opposed to this extension.
