- Noté 4 sur 5par KSH, il y a 2 ansIt seems to work well but the update process is constant, and the extension itself does not seem to recognize if and when it needs updating.
Further it is unclear (from the user perspective) *WHAT EXACTLY* needs updating. There's the standalone install (what is that called?) -vs- the stuff that gets installed in the Firefox folder... and is there more? I've updated the standalone install but it still complains it needs to be updated - well OK then do it, I am not sure what else I am supposed to do?
As far as I can tell I am up to date - 2.14.1 [application installed in C:\Program Files (x86)], and extension is still at 2.13.3 on this very page, but the extension is complaining I still need to update. - Noté 5 sur 5par paulcalebfarmer, il y a 2 ans

mis en ligne : il y a 2 ansPlease make sure to update the extension to 2.13.2, and then follow the instructions on the update page to also update the native program to 2.13.2. - Noté 5 sur 5par Tiago Ya'aqub, il y a 2 ansFor those who are laymen like me in these matters, the GitHub website is not very intuitive, if you use Windows 11 64, please select and download the file named "firefoxpwa-2.13.2-x86_64.msi" and install it normally on your Windows. The developer fails to provide precise guidance for those who don't know exactly how everything works, as these people don't know which extension they should download, but their work is to be congratulated, this PWA tool is excellent..

mis en ligne : il y a 2 ansYou need to manually update the native program to 2.13.2. You can read more details in the addon description.
The new extension version has now been released, so you can simply update the extension and follow the instructions in the popup. - Noté 5 sur 5par Eric, il y a 2 ans

- Noté 5 sur 5par treesap, il y a 2 ansGreat stuff. Just wanted to leave this note in case current users come here after theirs breaks: The native program has to be manually updated to support the latest Firefox. Go to github - filips123/PWAsForFirefox/issues/611

- Noté 4 sur 5par jw, il y a 2 ansEvery once in a while, newly pinned extension is not showing in the title bar. it does show in the toolbar, which is hidden.
to make it worse, it is also hidden in customization page, so it's impossible to move it in any way. also, because it weirdly requires long press to show the extensions, it's then impossible to trigger on the touchscreen.
closing all the instances will help, but, why not show the the address bar along with the toolbar in the customization page? - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 12319602 de Firefox, il y a 2 ansGreat add on and works perfectly fine for me.
I would appreciate if the PWA can safe login cookies, so that I don't have to type my password every time I start the app. - Noté 4 sur 5par Impromptu1300, il y a 2 ansI only wish it was made simpler.
Compare with Apple's web apps, which strike the best balance between reasonable customization and simplicity (i.e. I don't need any of the profile configurations and what not, I just want a working app that will work always; that will adjust to my system and blend in nicely with it, from showing the right (shape of the) icon to behavior).
Right now some web apps, after being closed, don't work. I have to relaunch them. And not all pages can be made to web apps. - Noté 5 sur 5par ff@n , il y a 2 ansThis is an impressive addon. This functionality is present in chromium/chrome based browsers but sadly lacking in Firefox. Working well so far on Windows 10.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Deewens, il y a 2 ansWork really well, even better than on Chrome, because you can customize a bit the PWA (like adding tabs for example, works really well to replace electron app on Linux)
- Noté 5 sur 5par BelFox, il y a 2 ansProfessionally build extension that brings PWAs to Firefox! Easy set-up and extensive user guide. Congrats to the developer!
