We need dislikes to tell if a video is good or bad! For example, There could 3K likes on the video, but maybe 10K disliked it, so JUST likes gives us a false perceptions, this shouldn't be a thing, thank God this exists

Removing the dislike count isn't about protecting creators. This is about protecting corporations,politicians and media companies

Does everything it says it will do.

Hopefully this encourages Youtube to return dislikes. Its a shame that such as system useful for identifying scams, misinformation and other sins was removed.
