greedy extension claims to give you 1 song a day but wont even give you that

i last used it over a month ago and its still on cooldown

more trouble than its worth just get rid of it

Needs setup after install but has workied fine for a few years.

Clicking the plugin button does nothing.

I exceeded my account limit on the first song, awful trash

Tries to use it on a song for the first time ever:
"Default account limit exceeded for today."
Ridiculous.

Doesnt' recognize most of playing audio on websites

It works.

But writes: "Security error. Open media in its own tab.".
When you do this - it detects audio well.

zero stars, wont work once without giving personal information to 3rd party site

The information in the About section for the extension is outdated.

An older review has the following instructions which nearly got me to get it working, but I still got an invalid error when I attempted to play the song despite setting up a host, access key and secret. Someone else may have the instructions to help get past the last step.

For visibility purposes, here is what the older review said:

A lot of people are having trouble setting up the account here is how to do it.
1. Go to console acrcloud dot com
2. Create an account.
3. Select your geographical region
2. Click 'Audio & Video Recognition' then 'Projects'.
3. Select 'Audio & Video Recognition' again and click 'Create Project'.
4. Any name will do, select 'Recorded Audio' and 'ACRCloud Music' as the bucket, allow all 3rd party integration.
5. After creating project there will be 3 text strings to copy into the options portion of the Song ID extension. Copy the 'Host', 'access key' and 'secret key' to the corresponding entries.
6. If the project 'Status Check' is 2/2 with a tick mark next to it you have done everything correctly.

You DO NOT need to create a custom bucket for Song ID to work.

hope someone else posts how to finish it from there so future users know what to do.
