If I want to share HEIC files with others through Synology Photos I have to make them go trhough stupid hoops to install things they don't want. This has singlehandledly made me decide to move away from Synology for my next NAS.

When it's time for a new NAS, I won't be procuring Synology. Makes you wonder who is making decisions like this. Really unfortunate.

I know, a Synology NAS can be at any domain, but at least make it so the end-user can enter the domain names into the settings. Doing it this way is not great.

Also this should be more accessible, like a prompt within photos linking users to this extension. There is zero reason to haft to go searching for it. Would be 5 stars but like I said, very ticked offf with synology.
