Unfortunately unusable. The video is displayed larger than the screen, and it's impossible to scroll the view to get to the controls. It's a shame because the twitch web viewer is so bad, but this manages to be worse. Even the app help is half off the screen ☺️

No way to see channel info without going back to Twitch player. Also, all options are cut off in the chat settings because it puts the chat behind the video player.

For some reason it started saving 30 sec clips of the channels I watch at random.

Any chance we can get a lighter version that only improves the quality of the player without going overboard changing its entire appearance and adding unnecessary stuff?
As it stands right now, it feels bloaty. I had to remove it because for whatever reason, it took me to some other ongoing stream too without me clicking anything.

Although it does break when I switch my user agent from Firefox to Chrome, but I guess I can live with keeping my useragent as Firefox.

I use it on an older PC where Twitch in Firefox was lagging with 720p and this addon improved the performance, so I have more frames and no more lags. The UI is ok.

Got problems on Firefox since their last update (72.0.1 (64 bits)). There is a green screen showing

I've been using the addon since it was released but after the latest update, I got this message:

"One of your browser settings prevents the “Alternate Player for Twitch.tv” extension from working. To fix it, open the tab with the address about:config. On the page, paste privacy.firstparty.isolate into the search field. The current status of this setting will appear below. Double-click it to change the value to “false”."

I know I can change this setting but I don't want to. I see no reason why this is now required to use the addon. Will it be fixed any time soon?

Worked like a charm for a very long time. Recently I cannot get the chat to show up anymore. It's just a blank white box. I did not touch any of the settings.

I love this addon and I use it completely in place of twitch's player. I was wondering if there was a way to remove the black bars when in fullscreen for a fully immersive experience.

Can confirm for dev that Twitch Drops work perfectly fine.

What a wonderful add-on! Would love the VOD support 'cause when I left click on the button when watching one, sadly nothing happens.. Otherwise 👏👏

Used to work well, but twitch now sends X-FRAME-OPTION: SAMEORIGIN for the popout chat. It needs to be changed to https://www.twitch.tv/embed/{CHANNEL}/chat
