I LOVED ColorZilla - allowed you to pick out any color (RGB, CMYK, HEX) on the web - a great tool for designers & developers, or someone who just wants the exact color they see elsewhere. HOWEVER, with the add-on update i received today, the dropdown menu on the browser for this add-on is completely different. It looks older than the previous version. Previous version had copys readily available right there in the dropdown whether you needed hex or RGB. I would have given the previous version of ColorZilla 5 stars, but because this version seems to have rolled back the hands of time in design & function, I'm giving it a 3

I'm giving 2 stars because before the update it was a 5 star add-on. If a quickly-deployed new update comes out to fix the add-on, I'll change my review to 5 stars. But if you have an add-on that doesn't do what it's advertised to do... the stars have got to go away.

This morning I was on a conference call, reading something from a webpage to a client. Suddendly, mid-sentence, ColorZilla decides it wants me to read them "Colorzilla Updated" instead. I wasn't standing next to my computer, so it sat there for several seconds before I was able to continue doing what I was doing. It made me look unprofessional in front of clients and my boss. All this for an addon I've had on my machine for less than 48 hours and have used ONCE (worked fine, at least). Will uninstall.

This is a fantastic tool I use all the time when working on my websites and projects. If you deal with color, install this. I wish it ran in windows' system tray so i could use it anywhere.

Stopped working at all with the new version, impossible to download earlier version, forced me to look for older version on a lot of sites you never know about

Has all you can think of for color sampling on the web page and much more. Honestly, once I thought that color sampler from web developer tools is enough and I can remove this add-on, so naive of me.

Been using this for years. Not sure why so many are having issues with the latest versions ... but it's definitely not as snappy and 'poignant' as it used to be. Regardless, I'm quite confident the author is doing his best to make it better and better and ... . So thank you for all your efforts!

Damn, used to be really useful (hence not just 1 star), and simple. Cannot get this new version with its unnecessary added features to work. If you want to keep your 4 star rating in Add-ons I advise fixing it as soon as possible.

After last update picker doesn't work at look. It sees page in different zoom or something like that, because real pixel color mismatch with scanned by addon one.

It used to be an amazing tool that I used every day. The 2017 releases have been absolutely terrible. I have rolled back to the last 2015 release.

Used to use this every day. Now it's a pile of rubbish. Doesn't record the colour I click on more than 2/3 of the time, records the wrong colour, laggy and slow to respond. Menu options were changed so can no longer copy RGB from first dropdown.... and Copy RGB from the new secondary menu just flat out doesn't work.

What an embarrassment!

Now I'm using Color Picker and recommend everyone to switch to that, it's light, accurate and does exactly what it needs to.

This was a very good extension, with the new update it's the worst eyedropper.

Don't know how to revert, but I do know how to uninstall. This add-on is now like a boat that refuses to float.

I had to revert back to version 2.8.2 and turn off auto updates, v3 I found totally unusable, please revert back to the earlier interface, I promise I'll donate!

Much slower then the previous version, color picking from local images do not work anymore..
It says "Click to Allow access to file URLs" but nothing happens on click... The black bar that appears after u get the color picker is not fixed - it offests the web page for the height of the bar.... It used to be one click picker, now there's a n extra click... All in all, i think I'm rolling back to previous version - the new one doesnt live up to it's name....

I have been using this tool for years and I even recommended with my users and clients. Now I will start the process of doing the contrary. The new update and interface change made this tool bad, really BAD...

As a webdeveloper I'm using this tool for years, but now it has changed so much, I can't use it anymore! The greatest mistake developers can make is to CHANGE it so much that the user needs to study it again. And we don't!
Pls bring back the standard functionality, and REMOVE the pop up bar in the top! Whether or not I disable it, it keeps showing!
