- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Dhawal, 8 jierren lynAdd on is working great, however it would be better if the videos(particularly embedded youtube ones) don't buffer in background.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch pineybreeze, 8 jierren lynThis plugin not only didn't work for me, it interfered with the functioning of my password manager (LastPass) so that I wasn't able to log into it, or to access remembered passwords for sites where the password screen was separate from the user ID screen. I am on Windows 7, and I am running a lot of other FireFox extensions.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14436305, 8 jierren lynWORKS FINE in Firefox on my Win10 computer and in Firefox Beta on my LG Android phone. I don't know why people give it such a bad rating.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14423036, 8 jierren lynas of 11/12/18 the addon does not work. If your on the latest version of FF, best option is to go to about:config, at the top search for autop, find media.autoplay.default, and change from 0 to 1 by right clicking the entry, and choose modify. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14412619, 8 jierren lynextension seems broken. Just won't work.

- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14151745, 8 jierren lynFINALLY this worked. The prior attempts to disable website audio autoplay via about:config settings only worked on my devices, but not my desktop. This plugin did the trick and eliminating a regular source of irritation. Thanks, Afnan!

in about:config you can set media.autoplay.default to 1 in order to block automatic playback on all pages or set it to 2 to decide on a per domain basis. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Stefaan, 8 jierren lynWorked for a few days, now doesn't do anything anymore. Became useless.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 5862475, 8 jierren lynWorks perfectly, what are these people talking about?
I see people saying they miss the FlashStopper ext, this is a perfect replacement, Thank you! - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14393835, 8 jierren lynThis appears to work exactly as advertised. FF v. 63.0, macOS 14.0 ("Mojave")
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14392467, 8 jierren lynDisappointing. Most of time it does not work.
- Wurdearring: 3 fan 5troch TheBlackMonk, 8 jierren lynThanks to the dev for his work on this project, hopefully an update is coming. As this work is uncompensated we can't ask for much. As many have stated the add-on is no longer working.
In about:config under media*autoplay I was able to get autplay disabled. Had to create the boolean media*autoplay*disabled and fooled around with a few other strings. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14283168, 8 jierren lynVersion 2018.10.3 No longer works at all. Per-domain preferences always remains empty. No longer stops Youtube videos from playing.
Rolled back to Version 2017.12.20 which does work correctly. Remember to turn off Add-on auto update for this extension.
