First I took off one star for a mild annoyance (no vid cover images) but now the entire extension is just randomly failing to function on various posts across the board rendering it pointless to even keep it... also I'd neglected to get around to complaining that vid dl size depends on what one is using the extension on (mobile gets lower res than pc).

Шикарное дополнение. Помимо своих основных функций скачивания ещё и добавляет удобный интерфейс плеера к каждому видео. И в отличии от остальных популярных дополнений, оно работает.

I love this extension, the best one I've tried, but the reason I only give it 4 stars is for the simple fact that if someone knowledgeable enough could clarify a topic well and that is if it is safe and only does its function and does not send personal data to another place. If someone does this research, can you send me an email to thenelzi7@gmail.com telling me if it is safe or not. Thank you very much.

Does what it needs to. I looked through the code and it doesn't seem to fetch data that is not required for instagram video downloading. Everything is handled between the client and instagram and no data is sent to a remote server.

So far the best extension ! Use it for a while and its really working great !

Edit: Previously rated 4/5 as I couldn't open more than the first image on a post on mobile. Without reason this issue stopped and is now working perfectly. My only conclusion is it may have been API related.

Shows video's controls, but saving is disabled.
