- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch LazySmurf, 2 dagen lynIt seems to remove most tracking parameters, but there are still occasional videos which have &pp= tracking on them, which is a bit unfortunate, but seems to work better at least than some of the others I've tried as at least most videos have the unnecessary parameters removed.
Edit: Thanks for updating. After updating to 1.0.1, it seems that the behaviour is similar, but still slightly further improved. Some links on the homepage seem to still contain the &pp= parameters, but I am wondering if this is JS adding these after page load time, so if there would need to be some more aggressive methods to update the page closer to real time. Still, it does seem that there are less videos which have this parameter at a quick glance anyway, so updated review to 4 stars. Looking forward to a future update which is somehow able to remove these completely!

2 dagen lyn pleatstAck, thanks for suggestion. I uploaded 1.0.1 which should also remove pp. It should be available once it's approved. ps. It's available now.
Reply edit: Cleaning up URLs through some external link shared by other people is the only purpose of this addon. This allows me to keep the addon code simple. I don't intend to change that. I suggest looking for a different addon if you really need that functionality or using an alternative YT client outside browser. FreeTube on PC and NewPipe/Tubular on Android are pretty neat FWIW. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch c., ien moanne lynIt's entirely functional, no clue what the other guy was talking about.
Tested this with normal, shorts and live videos on both the youtube.com and youtu.be domains. Antwurd ûntwikkeler
2 jierren lyn pleatstCould you include some details? I just tried going to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&si=random_tracking_value and it works as intended (ie. it removes si= tracking parameter).
