used to be fairly useful. but a lot of people keep getting reported for no reason and being labeled incorrectly. The creators are biased against certain groups (basically anyone who says there's issues in trans spaces and want to improve it, including: poc, intersex, and transmasc individuals or people who support them).
Basically not trustworthy unless you personally check everytime on your own.

I still would not recommend this for most people as much anymore as I would previously, due to how common it is for transphobes to be mislabeled as trans-friendly when only being extremely bigoted towards identities that aren't hyper fem rn due to mass reporting (while ignoring any trans women that have been transphobic, as they end up under reported in contrasts to the previous group). It's really sad to watch, but there is a lot of name-calling going on in the 5 star reviews by people as well as a heads up... usually by people upset at the concept of other trans folk facing similar difficulties that overlap in life. Please be kind to others either way if you see this review. <:(
Remember, unity matters, and we all face different levels of bigotry against us. This was supposed to help trans folks stay away from this type of situation, but has long since gone WAY far off course. If this ever got any better, I would suggest for there to be a note of what TYPE of transphobia the person did instead of simply "this is a transphobe".
There's no simple "evil vs good" situation in reality, and honestly just seeing how exactly someone was/is transphobic may be good.
To anyone who truly believe this has no flaws likely needs to realize that their social group may be in VERY extremely similar lives for a particular reason. And that isn't a good thing in this case, as it doesn't really easily let you grow as a person...? <:(

i've been using this extension for years to keep myself safe online as a transgender person, but lately i can't trust its labels on users to be accurate.
there have been SEVERAL times now i've seen trans intersex folks & trans men who talk candidly about the transphobia and cissexism they face labelled red, while people who are openly hostile against them & nonbinary people in particular still keep their green label.
it's disheartening to have to review labelled accounts and their posts for myself to determine whether or not they're actually transphobic or trans safe, especially since it defeats the purpose of using an extension like this to begin with- that being, to know at a glance whether to block a user or to trust that they'd advocate for me without risking exposing myself to transphobia

needless to say, the current state of this extension is a far cry from how it was when i first started using it years ago, and my social media experience is worse for it.

always suspicious of subscribing to blocklist type additions where you are at the whim of the developers but seeing how the anti trans label is weaponized against trans people the organizer doesn't like is a no go.

intersex nonbinary and transmasc people are not transphobic for talking about our own live experiences or wanting words to describe them.

i have found this useful in avoiding transphobes- in the sense that, i will occasionally add it to my browser, search "trans man" on whatever social media, then blocking everyone who's green. because almost without exception, people marked as trans friendly on this extension are horrible to trans men.

apparently more concerned with fucking over intersex- and trans-masc positive groups & individuals than actually helping the LGBTQ community. terrible and misleading, do not use.

As an intersex transmasc I can no longer support this extension as it is now being used for hate. Developers should be ashamed of themselves.

used to be a good extension for marking transphobic users (mainly terfs) and websites, but has unquestionably become unreliable. it is now being used to mark people as transmisogynistic for speaking about trans masculine issues and intersexism, effectively causing tension and discourse between online trans communities. this extension desperately needs a reboot and moderation team if it wants to become successful again.

Currently highly inaccurate due to mass false-reports. Many transphobic/intersexist users are getting marked as 'trans friendly', and many transgender users are being marked as 'trans unfriendly'.

Completely unusable as dev has decided to prioritize a petty intra-communitty conflict over actually helping trans people. Shame on them.

This extension lost a lot of it's usefulness over the years, and the creator's bigotry wrecked it. However. I do think it has a tiny bit of usefulness left: Does this person have An Opinion on trans people. The color is Entirely irrelevant now, but it indicates someone has said Something in one way or another about the topic, so if you are considering following someone that has A Color, you know you should check first to see if your views align. That is as far as this extension goes now.

can't use this anymore bc of transmedicalism and intersex hate. as a a nonbinary person its very concerning.
