Apparently some advertising companies are mad that 1.25 has found a way to block the previously sneaky cloaked first-party scripts, and this review section is now filled with shills concern-trolling and lying about 'cryptomining' and 'IP address leaks'. Anyone reading this, just google Ublock 1.25 and read the explanations for yourselves. The fact that ad companies are so desperate to smear this addon is the best possible answer you can get to the question 'is this a good ad blocker?'

This Addon just keeps getting better! Thank you for continuing to update and maintain it.

Also, people need to learn to read before jumping the gun on something they don't understand or have not bothered to fact check.

The info from this release update https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases/tag/1.25.0 under item (1) states that:

"Important: "IP address" refers to the IP address of network requests fired by your browser, not the specific IP address assigned to you, uBO has no access to your specific IP address."

No problems with the old versions. As long as they work you can use any of them. Wish I could update to the recent but I will not let any add-on be used for data mining.

Previous version still works fine. Wont update to the new thought
