The new version no longer work for me. Tap the extension button do nothing. It seems "Integrate with 1Password app" is broken. I have latest Big Sur and 1Password 7.

1Password has started to interfere with basic fill fields that have drop-down or accordion expansion functionality. For example, if you got to https://www.sonic.com and type into the address field, it gives you options to pick from. However, the 1Password dialogue box pops up and prevents you from both reading the first few options and from making an actual selection. This is infuriating, and it now happens CONSTANTLY. Modern web apps frequently force you to make a valid selection from their lists rather than letting you fill in whatever you want, and not being able to read those lists, let alone make a selection, renders 1Password completely unusable because it interferes with basic web browsing functionality. Please fix this ASAP. As it stands I'm already planning on going back to LastPass once my 1Password subscription runs out. It was already annoying that I couldn't do something as basic as update the parameters for auto-generated passwords in the dialogue box. Now that same under-featured dialogue box is preventing me from doing something simple like filling in an address field.

I've been using 1Password for years and years. The way it now hijacks my autofill in Firefox has made it unusable. I have to disable it to get it to stop - which is the worst.

Please add an option to use my Firefox autofill, but allow the add-on to be enabled. It's bonkers that I can't do this.

Hate the new version. I don't want to log in to the 1password website. I don't want the plug-in to spawn a new tab. Hoping the old version still works...

This version simply doesn't work. Install, make sure permissions are all granted and click the 1password button. Nothing happens.


Installed the "Classic" version (https://support.1password.com/cs/1password-classic-extension/) and everything works fine.

New version is bubbly, ugly, lacking features, and as a result: a pain in the ass to use. I prefer the old version.

Can't log in. Every time it thinks that the data is wrong. I have also copied and pasted all the data.

This "new" login process is confusing. Supposedly the account has already been added.

Can only see a few items saved online at 1Password, but none of my thousands of logins saved in standalone vaults at Dropbox, like I used to be able to do and without anything to fill in it is worth nothing to me. The old extension can only open links in the default browser and not in the browser where it is installed ... eh

Hi there, I have been having a persistent problem with the firefox version of the browser plugin for weeks - I click on the lock icon in my top bar, or the "unlock" button that pops up when I try to enter form data, and...nothing happens. It totally hangs and I can't use the extension at all.
I notice that other users were asked to include their console data; I am pasting mine here in case that's helpful.

Anfangs hat das 1Passwort-AddOn recht gut funktioniert. Leider wird es immer schlechter und schlechter. Da das Plugin nicht mehr mit der Destkop-App kommuniziert, muss man das Passwort immer zweimal eingeben und das Plugin ist nicht in der Lage Touch-ID zu nutzen. Warum 1Password sich entschieden hat immer unsicher und unkomfortabler zu gestalten ist nicht wirklich nachvollziehbar.

It does not work! It never opens! I have to login to 1p...d and copy/paste required info!

The new update makes 1Password unusable in-browser and 95% of the time it doesn't even work (the icon shows as locked, clicking on the icon just shows an infinite 'Loading' box).
Revert to the old version and I will give 5 stars but this latest version is making me want to stop paying you hundreds of dollars and move to a better service that actually tests updates before releasing them.

I keep getting popups with false information

I can no longer get the ext. to function reliable. You unlock and the ext seems stuck "loading"

Do you guys test anything before you release it? Seriously. A blind monkey writes more usable code. Extensions are supposed to make the user experience easier with fewer steps and more reliable interactions. This latest "upgrade" is none of those things.

The 1Password extension no longer works. 1Password is trying to move long-time users to a subscription model we NEVER asked for. Time to move on to a new password manager.

Re-directs me to another site. It doesn't allow log in with 1Password.

1Password reached out saying I have to download another extension. This is a bad product. They are trying to force their previous customers to their subscription model. In order to do that they are making our life complicated.

Ever since the v2.0 update I get stuck on the Loading... after entering my password. This lasts quite a while. A restart of the browser seems to get it working again but it's very annoying when you're trying to get logged in somewhere and it hangs like this. v1.x 1Password X was fluid and fast, this is a major regression in usability.

1Password is VERY rapidly going down the toilet -- worst password manager experience ever! WHY ARE THERE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS of the browser extension? Why is it so difficult to configure? Agile Bits have very much lost their way.
