Dropdown has both mp4 and mp4 options & its working fine.

Regarding yt-dl its not compatible with my server environment.

    Youtube normally offers these formats:

    * MP4 (H.264 + AAC)
    * WEBM (VP9/AV1 + Opus)

    What this extension allows to download is weird but I want to see the standard YouTube features, not "MP3" which has never been on the menu.

    I want to see a full array of formats being offered. Check youtube-dl for more info.

    All I got is an error message after typing in the URL from YouTube. Couldn't process input. Seems the only downloaders that work at all now only offer low resolution, like 360P. Update: 08/15/2024, same error message about the URL not being found. I have an older Dell laptop, but some other downloaders work still. Not this one. Tried it again 06/09/25. Still not working.

    Clever approach to the download challenge that likele work after YT has made changes causing other DLs methods to fail. Thank you!

    Being very new to this add-on, I'm still learning to use it. After playback, is it possible to have it automatically save the video, and use the name that would have come from the video's title?
