    Version 3.0 seems to have broken the Element hider which is most of the reason I use adblock plus over others.
    Also it hangs whenever I go to change any of the settings, The page dies with a non responsive javascript desktop-settings.js

    It dissapoints me that this version is dumbed down like adblock was in chrome. The ability to tweak so many aspects was why I continued with adblock plus in firefox in the first place. I might just move to vivaldi if I can find an adblocker similar to adblock plus before 3.0

    Depuis la dernière mise à jour d'Adblock Plus, la majorité des sites ne fonctionnent plus sans le désactiver et il est impossible comme avant de faire "Désactiver Adblock Plus partout".
    Il n'existe plus que "désactiver sur ce site" maintenant et le seul moyen de le désactiver entièrement pour que les sites puissent refonctionner (comme avec son ancienne version), c'est d'aller dans les modules Firefox et de désactiver Adblock Plus.
    Du coup j'en ai profiter pour aussi le désinstaller et partir hélas vers un autre bloqueur de publicité.
    Améliorer le visuel de l'interface c'est bien, mais il ne faut pas anéantir les fonctionnalités de l'extension pour ça...

    Since the last update of Adblock Plus, the majority of sites no longer work without disabling it and it is impossible as before to "Disable Adblock Plus everywhere".
    There is only "disable on this site" now and the only way to disable it completely so that sites can work again (as with its old version) is to go in Firefox modules and disable Adblock Plus .
    So I took advantage of it to uninstall it and go unfortunately to another blocker advertising.
    Improve the visual interface is good, but do not annihilate the features of the extension for that ...

    Новая версия 3.0 ни к черту не годна. Исчез список элементов, исчезло редактирование фильтра при выборе элемента на странице. Откатился на 2.91 и заблокировал обновления и Adbock и Firefox, что и всем советую. Без достойного блокировщика новая версия браузера лишается всех своих плюсов.
    И еще совет разработчикам - не позорьтесь, уберите с нового интерфейса эти дебильные ссылки на социальные сети.

    Version 3.0 is a disaster. The developers must be getting paid by a competitor to destroy their product. It has become useless. Now even Tools in Google Search is blocked, can't change language and period anymore. Ridiculous.

    What the hell append here? From one of the most useful addons it turned into some chromefied useless piece of dung. It doesn't even serve its basic function now. No option to view and block blockable elements on the page. Extremely disappointing..

As to blockable items, this was replaced by a Developer Tools panel - press Ctrl+Shift+I (Cmd+Option+I on macOS) to open Developer Tools, then switch to the Adblock Plus panel. You might need to reload the page, requests performed before the panel was opened aren't being displayed.

    Had to downgrade to previous version. No open blockable items menu and incompatible with element hiding helper. If it is not broken then don't fix it.

    Blockable items list has been replaced by a Developer Tools panel - press Ctrl+Shift+I (Cmd+Option+I on macOS) to open Developer Tools, then switch to the Adblock Plus panel. A move obvious way to open it would be great but sadly currently not possible (we filed a Firefox bug on that a year ago). You might need to reload the page, requests performed before the panel was opened aren't being displayed. As to Element Hiding Helper, it's sadly not possible to make it compatible with Firefox 57 but we want to incorporate parts of its functionality in Adblock Plus later.

    Love v2.x, but this new v3 is absolute garbage. Not exaggerating... it's the worst update in the history of the program. I actually had to restore the older version from backup and shut off updates because it was so bad. The interface has gone from power user friendly to toddler friendly. Important features to allow custom filters have been removed entirely, or made so rudimentary as to not even bother. Wow. Who ever thought v3 could possibly be a good idea? I'm dumbfounded at the horrible interface. Just... so bad. Avoid this version like the plague. Do not attempt to upgrade if you're lucky enough to still be on v2.x.

    Yes, making Element Hiding Helper work with Firefox 57 is sadly not possible. However, we plan to incorporate some of its functionality into Adblock Plus in future.

    Yes, with "adblock 57+" being essentially an old version of Adblock Plus for Chrome that's not surprising. We had to reimplement Adblock Plus for Firefox using Adblock Plus for Chrome as the starting point.     Перестали работать 80% правил блокирования которые собирались годами и прекрасно работали на 2.9.1. Отсутствие списка элементов на сайте вообще делает adblock бесполезным. Как я узнаю что блокировать на сайте если я этого не вижу? Пользоваться подписками? Так они составлены с учетом лояльности некоторых рекламных сайтов, а я не желаю видеть рекламу вообще собственно для чего и было нужно это дополнение. Да и кто сказал что все переходят на FF 57? Я выпилил из 56 все модули обновления, обновляются только дополнения, но блин они настырно переходят на поддержку 57 где я так понял не будет ничего, а точнее это будет не Firefox уже, а обычный Chrome
    Да и разработчик adblock талдычит про 57, а он не задумывался что всем плевать на firefox 57

    К сожалению, развивать 2.x возможности нет - классические расширения в Firefox 57 (выйдет через неделю) работать больше не будут. Будем постепенно добавлять утерянную функциональность к новой версии, насколько возможно, другого пути нет.
