Privacy Policy — Adjust Image Brightness

Adjust Image Brightness does not collect personal information, browsing history, account data, or analytics. It does not send any data to remote servers. Images are never uploaded or stored on our servers.

When you use the extension, it may temporarily store the following information locally on your device only:
• Whether image-selection mode is currently active
• The brightness value you set for the selected image (session only)

This local data is used only to keep selection mode active, apply a CSS brightness filter to the image you selected, and sync the on-page HUD with the popup. It is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Permissions:
• activeTab — interact with the current tab when you start selecting
• scripting — inject the selection UI into the active page
• storage — keep selection mode state locally for the session

The extension does not include analytics, advertising, or remote APIs. All brightness adjustments run locally in your browser via CSS filters.
