Companion extension for AIKit Orchestrator that enables AI-powered tab and container management through natural language commands.
Features:
- Open, close, and reload tabs
- List and search open tabs
- Switch between tabs (activate)
- Create and manage Firefox containers (contextual identities)
- Open tabs in specific containers for isolated browsing
- Organize containers with custom colors and icons
- Remove containers when no longer needed
How it works:
This tool extension registers with AIKit Orchestrator to provide tab management capabilities. The AI can control your tabs and containers based on your chat commands.
What are Firefox Containers?
Containers (also called contextual identities) let you separate your browsing into isolated contexts. Each container has its own cookies, storage, and browsing data, perfect for separating work/personal browsing or managing multiple accounts on the same site.
Example commands (via AIKit Orchestrator):
- "Open google.com in a new tab"
- "List all my open tabs"
- "Close all tabs with youtube in the URL"
- "Create a Work container with blue color"
- "Open facebook.com in the Personal container"
- "List all my containers"
- "Switch to the tab with GitHub"
Privacy:
This extension accesses tab information (URLs, titles) and container data, which is transmitted to AIKit Orchestrator and then to your chosen AI provider (Claude/OpenAI/Google) for processing.
Requirements:
- AIKit Orchestrator must be installed and configured
