Make social media accessible with AI-generated alt text. This extension adds a "Create Alt Text" button to image upload dialogs on Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

## How it works
1. Upload an image to a post
2. Open the alt text dialog
3. Click "Create Alt Text"
4. AI analyzes the image and fills in the description

## AI Providers
Choose your preferred provider:
- Google Gemini (bring your own API key)
- OpenAI GPT-4 (bring your own API key)
- Anthropic Claude (bring your own API key)
- Alt Kit Hosted ($3/month - no setup required)

## Privacy
- API keys stored locally on your device only
- Images sent directly to your chosen AI provider
- No tracking or data collection by the extension

## Features
- Automatic clipboard copy as fallback
- Works with React-based interfaces
- Lazy loading for minimal resource usage

The extension is free. You pay your AI provider directly for usage, or use our hosted plan for a flat monthly fee.

TIPS
- If auto-fill doesn't work on Instagram/Facebook, the alt text is copied to your clipboard - just paste it
- Enable "Copy to clipboard" in settings as a backup
