I looked at a lot of different password managers before settling on Bitwarden. My main decision points were that it's open source, they let you host it youself if you want, and the price is very good. It's not the flashest or the slickest, but it does exactly what you expect and it does it very well. Really happy since I've moved to Bitwarden, my passwords nightmare has gone away.

I know BitWarden is secure, the source code is open.

No matter what I do, the toolbar icon does not appear, so I can't access it. Reinstalled to no effect.

My only complaint is that if you try to manually add a new entry (rare occurance) using the add-on, you can't click off the active window without it clearing every field that you've already populated.

Using this addon makes it a breeze to fill and save logins with unique, random passwords in conjunction with Bitwarden's desktop client. Great features and being open source, more trustworthy than other proprietary software.

After 7 months, this browser extension is still awful. If you set it to be able to log you back in via biometrics or a PIN, it just doesn't work and reverts back to those being unchecked. If you mistype your materpassword, you have to fully logout, then log back in, it won't let you just retype your password.

I really want to like Bitwarden, but it's just so terrible to use. I'm giving it a few more months, then if it's not got better, I'll cancel my subscription and give 1password a go.

The password manager is good, but the auto-lock feature is very unreliable

Works really well on windows and linux.

Perfectly happy with the add on but it refuses to save preferences when installed on a new browser. Very annoying to deal with when using on multiple machines.

Non ho molta esperienza in gestori delle password ma comunque mi sento di dire che BITWARDEN mi ha convinto fin da subito.
Lo trovo comodissimo sia su desktop tramite estensione che su mobile.
