Callipso Voice Bridge delivers dictated text into any website's input field 40× faster than clipboard paste
(~5 ms vs ~200 ms). It is the Firefox-side companion to the Callipso desktop app —
a voice-routing and terminal-orchestration tool for macOS developers.

How it works
- You speak. Callipso's desktop app transcribes locally (no cloud).
- When Firefox is the frontmost window, Callipso sends the text to this extension over a local
wss://localhost WebSocket.
- The extension injects the text directly into the focused input, so it appears instantly without ever
touching your clipboard.

Features
- Fast-path insertion into any <input>, <textarea>, or contenteditable element.
- Optional audio ducking on tabs playing audio during dictation (press F12).
- Works on any site — no allowlist, no config.

Requires the Callipso desktop app for macOS. Without it, the extension has nothing to receive text
from.
