    Spent heaps of time debugging my script because of this add-on. What kind of idea is to convert HttpOnly cookies to comment lines? ExportCookies https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/export-cookies-txt/ is so much better

    Works perfectly with ytdlp... Just use this extension to generate your "cookies.txt" file, and in your command, make sure to include "--cookies path/to/cookies.txt" and it works like a charm!

    Recommended extension by yt-dlp. That's the one you want if you need that cookie to download a video from a youtube channel where you have a membership.

    If you ever want to improve on it. add a timer system, or something automatic. as I need to share my cookies with a Program I use. and would be nice if the app just auto dumped the cookies to the file every now and then..

    or not. it's not hard to push a button. But I know I'll forget it and go "Doh... the cookies" every time I use the program..

    Addon has no clue about containers, and wants to export cookies from all of them, it is painfull. And there is no option to configure this behavior.

    If this add-ons build from the same source-code on author github (https://github.com/lennonhill/cookies-txt), than it's safe to use, no privacy or malicious codes found. I using it with youtube-dl and it's work fine.

    Somebody complained that they installed this extension but then found no way to use it. I had the same problem - at first. The icon that's supposed to appear in the toolbar didn't. But it turned out I had the same problem with other extensions. Firefox was somehow stuck in a state where no extensions worked. I found the problem described in several places. I tried 2 or 3 suggested solutions but none of them worked. In the end I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox. That did it. Cookies.txt now does the job.
