Works great, unlike the Noise extension, which I loved back in the pre-WebExtension days, but which I've never been able to get to make any sounds, using the modern WE version.

Kind of a bummer, though, that you can't customize your own sound (I don't want to use voices).

Also, it would be really nice if you would offer the option (like Noise, when it works) to set up a Failed Download sound that's different from the Successful Download sound, and make both of them optional (I would generally prefer to only use a Failed sound, not a Successful one).

Why is it impossible to use Richard usa voice anymore.

This used to work up until recently. Now, no matter which english (US) male voice I choose, it only plays the same robotic female voice.

can I customize the sound without being a hackerman?

I would like to be able to set different sounds for success and failure.

hey, this is pretty good, but it'd be cool if we could set our own sounds to play when it started/finished/failed a download, maybe even for pausing and resuming
