Excellent app. Developer works hard to keep it up to date when YouTube changes their codes. Sometimes there's a short lag for the update, but that's to be expected. Thanks for a great program!

Clearly the best video download extension. It's updated quickly every time YouTube tries to make downloading more difficult. Works better and on more video hosting platforms than other extensions.

This dowloader is quick and easy. Also, they work hard to stay head of YouTube's efforts to block downloads. If it doesn't work, it's not Easy Downloader's fault. It's YouTube.

I haven't had any issues that many others have pointed out having. If you have issues, read the documentation, or reach out to the developer -- but realize they are a one-person show and it may take time to weed through the hundreds or thousands of requests to get to yours. This is a freely provided add-on, and for that I am thankful and grateful for the work of the dev.

If you are considering an install of the add-on be aware that issues may arise from time to time due to how Youtube updates their code constantly. Those updates can temporarily break this add-on until the dev has a chance to resolve the particular issue with the code update.

In an ideal world, Youtube wouldn't break developers' hard-worked code by changing features or functionality, and the developer would have unlimited hours to work on this singular add-on. We don't live in that world, so please remember to exercise patience when things happen.

Brilliant software. Quickly updated whenever YouTube code changes (which causes problems for Youtube Video Downloader). Great service.

Fantastic,simple to use does exactly as intended!

Works great on most video sites, except most of the major paid streaming services which is understandable. Frequent updates keep it working well on sites like YouTube. Takes a little getting used to in order to make sense of the results on certain complicated streams. Downloads JPEGs, too, but that really isn't necessary in most cases. If there was a feature I wish it had but doesn't, it would be the ability to download subtitles along with the video file.

Dont rate this add-on too early - the developer is always working on current updates, sometimes it takes a few days! Love this add-on!

I've found this program excellent. I use FireFox on Linux and don't know if it is available for other platforms. I use it to download videos I watch at my convenience. Sometimes there are hiccups when YouTube modifies programming. I wait a few days; it works again. The program and the maintenance are excellent. I strongly recommend it to everyone.
