Really excellent addon. The developer is always working on improvements despite being a solo operation. A fix is currently under development (May 2021) for the download button not appearing due to youtube format changes.

Easy to use, works every time. Most others only work for a while and then there is no more support. This plugin has always worked for me.

Great for YouTube! Some videos can't be downloaded, because the URL isn't safe or is unknown. Generally I don't have problems downloading, but I've found 720P is the highest I can go without getting video distortions. Still great quality!
The only time there seems to be a real problem even getting a download would be when YouTube crashes the add-on, and it needs to be revised again to work.

I have never had any issues with this add on; I highly recommend it as an addon choice!

I am using Linux mint 20.04 with firefox 88.0.1 and took 45 min. going through about five different download add-ons and apt installs to get a youtube downloader which works with youtube.
This Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express is the only one which simply works.

Great simple add on for a user. But most probably a lot of work for the developer/maintainer.

This is a very efficient YouTube down loader, I would not be without it. YouTube keeps changing codes on their end to defeat down loaders such as this one. The creator of this down loader is always working to be one step ahead of the YouTube code changes. Please don't rate it badly if YouTube gets ahead of him, he will 'fix it'

Easy to use and it downloads great!

ive used this app for some time now. appreciate all the hard work the developer puts in to this.

Convenient and simple YouTube downloads with a button that stands out against light or dark themes. When YouTube broke this add-on by changing code in March 2021, the fix came not too much later from the Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express developer. Another fix arrived more recently although I'm not sure my Firefox installation was affected this time around. I use this add-on more than any other except for Firefox themes for appearance.
