Well done. Does what it's expect to do. But, sometimes when you're going to download a video e.g. 480p as max., the highest download available option is 360p. In other cases, the 1080p ain't available, being 720p the best option available.

I have tried many other free downloaders and they are mostly junk. Complicated, don't work, or may be spyware. easy-youtbe-video-downloader works consistently well. It cannot download protected videos.

The extension is possibly one of the more easier to use extensions out there when it comes to downloading videos from the 'net. The advantage here is that you can download a video that is currently playing without needing to follow the instructions from most sites requiring you to sign in or be a member in order to download the video to your hard drive. Once the icon becomes animated, you know you're good to go. You need to install a side application in order for this to work effectively
