I've installed the English GB language pack several times, but it's still not available for use. When I right click in a text box and choose Languages in the context menu, I only see this:

English US (United States)
Add dictionaries...

I've installed this Add-on, but Firefox still comes up with that strange American spelling.

It doesn't use English. I find that my spellcheck still uses the dumbed-down English that Americans use. And I can't remove the US English add-on.

I clicked now 4 times on the hyperlink, but the module simply won't install. Doesn't FF support more than 1 language?

It simply doesn't work, there's no two ways about it. You install it, but all spell checking is still in American English and the British English one doesn't appear as an option. Have tried installing it, uninstalling it etc... over a period of months or more than a year, so it's not a temporary thing.

Spellcheck is activated in the options menu, but doesn't work on any pages other than Google which does it's own spell check

Do not work at all. I was forced to move to dictionary prepared by Marco A.G.Pinto.

This pack is added on my account but then checking, only the English USA version is shown. No options on the dropdown for this UK version).

Uninstalled the English language pack altogether - and there seems to be no way to reinstall it from the ADD-on tab in the browser.

Having added the Dictionary from Marco Pinto, now the spellchecking works,even without the language pack. Perhaps you explain somewhere what the language pack actually does as an add on compared to the dictionary.

Causes Waterfox to crash on launch. Need to launch Waterfox in safe-mode to uninstall the plugin and thus fix it.
