More screens are more fun? I disagree. Being able to not see has value to me. I understand that I'm alone on this. Sigh.

Why haven't there been any updates for seven months? Chrome has been on version 3.0.8 for a long time now :|

Sadly it become abandonware, must have addon through the years now breaking and glitching.

6/17/2025 - extension was working perfectly fine until yesterday for me. now all of a sudden it's not working no matter how many times I try to reload the extension, reload my browser, delete my cache, etc. it's been 7mo since the extension has been updated so that could be an issue. I'll report back if I find a substitute.

Just post version 3.0 on a git or something. i think mozilla's review process is terrible too. easily a fav addon, but does not work at all anymore.

Addon breaks uBlock Origin; I get the ad-blocker prompt on Youtube unless I have this disabled.

Enhancer for YouTube adds a wealth of highly useful features and controls to the YouTube experience, significantly improving usability. The functionality offered is genuinely excellent and much appreciated.

However, I'm giving it 1 star due to a critical issue: it is closed-source. This lack of transparency is a major concern. We, the users, cannot verify the code we are running in our browsers. This presents potential security and privacy risks, as there's no way to audit the extension for hidden tracking or malicious behaviour. Trust requires transparency.

I genuinely love what this extension does, and I would instantly change my rating to 5 stars if the developers embraced free and open-source principles.

I strongly urge other users to request this change as well. Open source is vital for user security and trust in browser extensions. Developers, please consider making Enhancer for YouTube open-source. The concept is fantastic, but its closed nature prevents a wholehearted recommendation.

I only use it to set a default resolution for YouTube videos, but it's not working. If I set the resolution to 1080p, it removes 1080p and higher options from the quality settings.
