This WAS an awesome add-on, but not anymore. It ends up making your videos not load, or STOP video, while audio continues. If you're having SERIOUS ISSUES watching YouTube and you have this installed, REMOVE IT!!!

I have to disable and re-enable this extension every. single. time. I run firefox because it doesn't work from the get go.

"open in a new tab"- automatic screen expansion does not work when I'm log in. When I'm log out then i it's no problem.

Roughly 25% of the time the extension fails to load. Meaning if you aren't paying careful attention as the page is loading you could get BLASTED with loud audio that you would assume you could attenuate with the mouse wheel... until you try it only to realize that the extension didn't load and so you proceed to get blasted with loud audio until you turn down the volume some other way.
There will be times you would be watching something in 240/360/480p and sometimes you assume that it's just the best quality available until you finally realize that the extension didn't load and Youtube just decided to play it for you in the aforementioned terrible resolution.
Lastly I do NOT care about "What's new in Enhancer for YouTube" at all. And the fact that there is no way at all to disable the whats new thing from popping up is pretty frustrating.

Everythings looks perfect, but the functionality that I most use is not working. Boost Volume not works, I had to run youtube videos in Chromium browsers for the feature work

For last few months started to notice that YouTube really sluggish, pages load slowly and every keyboard tap takes long time to register. It was driving me nuts and I blamed FireFox for becoming so slow. To my surprise the Enhancer was actually the root cause! 2 stars because resolution switcher and mouse volume control are very nifty. But this slowdown is unbearable to the point I had to disable this extension. I hope the author will take care of the performance issues.

This is my go to extension for keeping my youtube videos at 2x speed. Though I have noticed with youtube's API changes that the extension doesn't always work. Either a new window or reload of my browser is needed to get it to work.

Edit 2024/7/14: The extension works really well still but doesn't always seem to run when loading up youtube. Sometimes I need to reload the browser to get the extension features to work

2024/9/26: The issues listed above have gotten worse where the extension doesn't appear to be active as I will have no preset settings working. Unable to narrow down the cause as some tabs it works others it doesn't. A new browser session doesn't seem to effect it

2024/11/16: I no longer get any features of this extension working.

The adblocking in YT works fine in previous versions (better than uBlock IMO). Look at the version history and download an older version if you prefer a full featured version that hasn't been neutered.

What do you mean that "Ads Management" became useless? I had no ads at all, it was working perfectly. I now simply downgraded from the latest version (disabled automatic updates of course) and the ads are gone again.

Broken. Used to be good, but now you can't scroll down on youtube pages with this addon installed.

not working properly, most of the time the buttons e.g. sound booster doesnt show up

Great extension, but it recently started causing video/audio studder in YouTube any time I change tabs. Exact same settings I'm using used to be fine. This is the last couple days I think. As soon as I disable this the video skipping stops happening.

It's a great extension, but the developer suddenly decided not to turn off the warning against adblockers, which will make the youtube experience much less enjoyable. I'm not watching 30-second unskippable adverts on mattresses.

used this extension for years, but adblock started getting detected and controls stopped showing up so forced to remove it

when manually rewinding, the increase in volume constantly disappears. very annoying! fixed by reloading the page

HOW, please explain! Nothing online I can find seems useful to explain how to do this and I want to make it work again.
