I could never go back to not using this but unfortunately the feature to automatically switch to 1440p on yt doesnt work. The only thing that switches to 1440p is if you pick a different resolution for full screen lets say 2160p and also check the option to switch back to default after exiting fullscreen. If I just load a fresh video its set at 720p and doesnt change by itself at any point during playback unless I go in full screen.

And now that im doing tests, most resolutions just dont apply automatically either. Its only the 4k one that has been reliable over the years, which has been my default for a long time.

Extension is amazing, but it sadly seems to be breaking all forms of YouTube embeds as of late (Playback isn't supported on this device). Hopefully this gets fixed despite Google's constant interfering

This extension is fantastic. Super useful and well maintained. Exactly what I was looking for.

I've tried several alternatives and this one is by far the best. Straightforward and does the job perfectly.

It's great and all, but it breaks embeds on speedrun.com

this would be perfect but it doesn’t change the UI at all, it works on google but not when i move to Firefox and the experimental features are nowhere to be found

Works fine but like Firefox user 12726217 said its now giving "Playback isn't supported on this device." errors or nothing at all(just a black area that you cant interact with), but it seem to mainly be on embedded videos, sometimes video works after several refreshes, but like 90% of the time it gives the playback error or its just a black area. Disabling the addon makes videos load with no issues.

Normally a good addon, but Google seems to have started to block it the last few days. With this addon enabled some videos now give an error saying that playback isn't supported on this device.

great and useful extension if only it doesn't cause interruptions. it takes seconds before the video loads and triggers "experiencing interruptions?" popup from youtube

Proprietary but no bigger/better toolbox available

works really well and has pretty useful features
