As others have mentioned this is the best addon in this genre but it does not reliably work it seems.

It always works for me in a private window but I have around a 30% success rate when signed in. If I simply clear site data for youtube and remain signed out it works, the second I sign in (and the page reloads) it fails again.

To be clear this isn't "some functionality" is bugged. Its that it seems to be either entirely off or entirely on and I do not know why but it is somehow related to cached site data to a degree.

The addon works right now, but there are minor problems where if I go to watch videos I uploaded to youtube it doesn't show up.

Playback Speed and Volume Control by hovering over the player are broken. I guess Youtube has locked some control of things behind updates, but I hope these get resolved

it works. my only problem is now the auto play on youtube setting doesnt work anymore. edit - i had to change all the auto play setting in the extension setting. all good now

It works great! Just to alert users. If you don't see comments on the YT video page, you may have clicked the box on the enhancer settings; hide the comments. This problem took me several days to figure out that this extension was the cause of the missing comments. No help was found on the internet.

Really great extension. It could just be my computer, but using "+" and "-" does not increase the speed of the video. Please look into this.

Fixes the new stupid YouTube layout.

this is by far the best YouTube extension, it's everything you'll ever need. but a couple of days ago i noticed that this extension is not loading (auto-load) no 3 dots in the lower part of the video, no options unless you go into add-ons and then still it does not load.

I've used this addon for like 7 years now and it's starting to feel like bloat, it makes your youtube slow. It took me a while to figure out why my youtube acted so weird and solved it by disabling this plugin. Until it's updated to be faster, i cannot recommend it anymore.

The idea of the extension is great, and there are many great options to customize the player. That said, as I experience it, often the extension is often not activated.

Great! Please add an option to disable the built in 2x speed when you hold your spacebar / mouse down on the video! It breaks 360 videos completely :)

I really like this extension, but two things don't work:
- the icons in the toolbar don't appear (the three dots don't appear)
- the anchored image in the top left corner when I scroll down the page (don't appear)
And this only happens when I open a youtube video in a new tab (which is the way I work).

In the current tab: everything works.

In a new tab: both issues appear.

This has always been the case. (this is not related to the new version of Enhancer f YT recently released).

Note: I use Firefox portable from portableapps.com, version 127.0.2, but the issues already existed with successive previous versions.

J'aime beaucoup cette extension, mais deux choses ne fonctionnent pas :
- les icônes de la barre d'outils n'apparaissent pas (les trois points n'apparaissent pas)
- l'image ancrée dans le coin supérieur gauche lorsque je fais défiler la page vers le bas n'apparaît pas.
Et cela n'arrive que lorsque j'ouvre une vidéo youtube dans un nouvel onglet (ce qui est ma façon de travailler).

Dans l'onglet actuel : tout fonctionne.

Dans un nouvel onglet : les deux problèmes apparaissent.

Cela a toujours été le cas. (ce n'est pas lié à la nouvelle version de Enhancer f YT récemment publiée).

Note : J'utilise Firefox portable de portableapps.com, version 127.0.2, mais les problèmes existaient déjà avec les versions antérieures successives.

As of today, June 29, it works great. And the best thing of all.... it reverts the ugly new youtube layout back to the old layout we all know and trust. Yay!
