Free Background Remover troch Dominic Lux

Background Remover by ResizeBox.com removes image backgrounds directly in Firefox using local AI processing. Your images stay on your device and are not uploaded to ResizeBox or Hugging Face.

Upload or drag and drop JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP images, remove their backgrounds, choose a transparent, white, black, or custom background, and download the processed results as PNG files.

Features:
• AI background removal directly in Firefox
• Process up to 10 images at a time
• JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP support
• Transparent PNG output
• White, black, or custom background colors
• Download individual PNG results
• Download multiple results as a ZIP archive
• Local image processing
• No account required

The AI model is downloaded from Hugging Face on first use and cached locally by the browser for later use. All executable JavaScript and WebAssembly code is packaged with the extension. Hugging Face is used only to download AI model data.
