This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
When a music video is detected, the extension sends a search query (artist name + song title) to the Genius API (api.genius.com) to retrieve the lyrics page URL. No personally identifiable information is included in this request.
If you enter a personal Genius API token, it is stored locally in your browser and only transmitted to api.genius.com as an authorization header.
