GIFs for GitLab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no analytics, tracking, or backend server operated by us.

• Settings (optional KLIPY API key, content rating, insertion format, grid columns, self-hosted domains) are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device.
• When you search for a GIF, your search terms are sent directly from your browser to the KLIPY API (https://api.klipy.com) to return results. This request goes to KLIPY, not to us, and is subject to KLIPY's terms (https://klipy.com). GIF images are loaded directly from KLIPY's CDN.
• No browsing history or GitLab data is read or transmitted. The extension only reads the comment field you are editing, to insert the GIF you choose. No cookies, no telemetry, no data selling.
