    Light Mode Guard:
    - The theme now follows GitHub's own decision rather than inferring it from data-color-mode, in single and auto mode alike. It applies when GitHub renders dark and stays out of the way when it renders light, whatever the browser is set to.
    Auto mode on a light OS previously painted light pages with dark tokens.

    High Contrast Support:
    - High contrast themes keep the contrast they were chosen for instead of being flattened to the standard palette. dark_high_contrast renders pitch black with borders and text lifted to 10.9:1, matching GitHub's own, where the standard palette sits at 3.0:1. light_high_contrast is left alone.

    Minify:
    - The package is 11KB, down from 52KB. The CSS is minified and the icon set is generated from one SVG at only the sizes each browser reads. Less to download, and less to parse before first paint.

    • Fixed a bug where dropdown menus (like the profile menu and branch switcher) still showed a faint blue-tinted border instead of neutral gray.
    • Cleaned up a bunch of smaller UI details that still had a blue tint: labels, code/diff view colors, terminal colors, disabled buttons, and more.
    • Fixed theming on GitHub Docs and Gist pages, which weren't properly covered before.
    • Fixed a bug that could make text invisible on a few light-only GitHub pages (like the marketing/resources pages) by incorrectly forcing a black background there.
    • Improved overall contrast and readability — borders, buttons, and disabled states are easier to see against the pure black background, with some tuning for OLED screens.
