    been using GoodTube for a while since YT started detecting UBlock Origin - this thing is an absolute lifesaver for me, and I am super lucky to have found something as incredible and undetectable as this. i like how it also lets me get rid of shorts too, which means i can search for stuff easier

    overall, this has been an incredible hidden gem, and I am really glad I found this after UBlock got detected

    The advantage of this extension is that it doesn't trigger youtube slowdowns like ublock origin. Recommended 5/5

    Works perfect. It works around the video start delay when your account is flagged due to using adblocker.

    Brilliant. I’ve been using this for a long time and it’s finally an extension. It does include a two dollar *one-time* payment now which to me is very worth it (compared to paying monthly for youtube premium, imagine). I like that it brings back the old YT algorithm and tbh blocks out way more than ads. Kudos 👏

    This is easily the most reliable YouTube ad blocker I’ve tried. While many others get detected or stopped by YouTube, this one continues to work smoothly without issues.

    The option to hide YouTube Shorts, bring back the classic player and interface, and fully customize the platform makes YouTube feel much more enjoyable.

    If you’re frustrated with ad blockers failing or being blocked by YouTube, this extension is a great solution. Definitely recommended.

    Okay..Both work btw...Tampermonkey and this addon.I thought the tamapermonkey script was not working anymore..must have been the firefox update that temp broke it..I did buy the ext btw..and anyone complaining its not free..just buck up!!..$2 really...thats a coffee..ONE TIME ONLY...jeez...buncha of tightwads..

    Good question. There's a few new features and more coming soon.

    New features:
    - Remove "who's still listening in 2025" style comments (optional)
    - Faster loading speed
    - Improved privacy and security
    - Removed settings menu icon from the bottom right of Youtube (this is because I can now use a normal extension menu instead, which is nice)

    Upcoming new features:
    - Automatically set video quality to highest / lowest / whatever you want
    - Always start in theater mode
    - Remove all AI related stuff
    - Support for transcripts
    - Fixed shuffle and loop functionality for playlists
    - And more over time

    Hands-down the best adblocker for youtube out there, period. Youtube detects other adblockers like UBlock Origin and slows down the site in response to them but GoodTube does not have that problem.
    Not only that, it also includes some extra optional features such as removing all shorts, removing AI and my personal favorite: setting how many videos you want per home row.
