    Very basic. Nothing happens when clicking on the icon, which is misleading. Just adding 3 keyboard shortcuts.

    Hi, are you experiencing a problem with Firefox?

    FWIW I'm running it daily and works just fine. There is new version for Chrome because Google broke Manifest V2 extensions and had to be fixed. Firefox, afaik, was never broken.

    Customizable keyboard shortcuts for play/pause and skip back and forward is just what i needed. Would be cool if it worked with other apps focused, but i guess that's beyond the scope of firefox plugins.

    New response: After investigation, the problem come from youtube music not from this plugin, I changed my comment and keep this Add-ons, thanks to the developer for wanting to help.

    Old comment: Very good feature but doesn't work anymore from 3 months

    I am using this on music.youtube.com and did not notice any regression – mind providing more details about what does not work?

    Unfortunately Firefox does not provide API for setting Global shortcuts (that work when browser window is not focused) yet: The bug 1411795 to add global keyboard shortcut support to commands API is at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1411795 If you want to help, register there and vote on that bug, so it gets prioritized. Thank you! 🙏

    Very simple plugin that does a good job asking for minimal permissions. The keyboard based playback control is kinda weird - and isn't fully compatible with my keyboard media keys (it plays/pauses but won't respect the track jump keys), but is still pretty nice.

    Hotkeys don't work unless Firefox is the active window, so it's not useful if I'm using another program. I'm not sure if that's meant to be possible with this but the description says "lets you control background playback".
